Was going to suggest "new karkland". But I seriusly doubt that 256 players will work, it will be hard also on the client side.

There are 2 non-cappable spawn points at the topfor the USMD forces, and another 3 closer to the city without the flags (like in the orignal map)

it's Karkand you only need the 1st Mec flag and everything else could be desert....

i think maybe add a couple of uncappable MEC flags, so y'know the maps last longer. and maybe only add one or 2 tanks per side so you don't have a bunch of tanks going around just smashing everyone to bits? and you should have like 1 or 2 more us flags, maybe one on the top (north) and one to the right (east) side of the map. and dividing it with a river is a good idea
yeah, if the server starts to run someday, though my machine will propably have MASSIVE LAG problems with in there, dunno....maybe i'll put graphics to low/off and AA off

nice idea but there is no way Cable or DSL and maybe not even t1 or 3 can support it
definately think there should be at least 2 uncapable bases for the USMC, if not 3 it looks like the MEC guys will just roll out the moment they can and just spawn camp the USMC the entire round.
This is a great idea. Love the Black Hawk Down idea.
I would put one U.S spawn point right in the middle of the map. That would be the black hawk down site. Like it was in Somalia. Surronded by hostiles.
And I would skip the tanks and apc's and make it an infantry only map.

Won't be ranked - EA only allow official maps to be on ranked servers AFAIK

Most games dont need anything more than a 256 or maybe 512k connection to play. Any lag is due to distance, or something else going on the line (download, spyware).Maj.Do wrote:
