yeah, i agree...modular cable-ing is the way to go...no more cables crammed in empty 5.25 bays....

looks nice, and i hope it really is quiet....

It boggles the mind why non-proprietary PSU's weren't modular to begin with. Unfortunately, chassis with compartmentalized PSU areas sometimes cannot house modular (as with the Lian Li V1000).

Because modular just adds one more point of resistance, voltage drop, and possible failed/loose connections

I have a Hyper Type-R 580W Modular and don't like it. The only reason I don't like it is because I have a P180. I'll be getting a Seasonic Modular because they have crazy long cables.
