Well, it was actually official when over 2/3 of medics started using the G36E on 700+ different servers about 1 and a half years ago.

Ever wondered why so many people use the G36E, because its an overpowered weapon. It has a quick, yet accurate 3-round burst which you can generally kill people with if you get them in the right spot and a uber accurate single shot mode for far away targets. It takes 3.8 seconds to reload, which makes it the fastest reloading assault rifle in BF2. Don't say for one second its, l337, cause it ain't. A l337 gun is a gun that isn't over-used and abused by BOTH sides of the teams.

I know that its a 2nd unlock, but if you have SF, you can already have this gun by the time your Lance Coporal (you need SF to even unlock it). Most of the campers use this weapons, cause they ain't got the balls to pick a PKM or RPK

I rekon they should of gave the G36E to Assault, don't say Assault will be overpowered (with the G36E) because Assault does not have any medic bags to heal himself with (as medic does). It also seems nowadays that Assault has no place in the battlefield (except for their nade launcher and smoke grenades) as medic IS the new assualt.

yep, I know it sucks. I dont have SF yet, but I've seen a lot of noobs runnin around with a G36E. I use a PKM.

Probably right. But I only use the weapons I need for a certain badge. I got expert spec ops ages ago and not used it for ages. But I did rack up many a kill with that weapon.

G36E is powerfull and if all people using it are n00bs then think about this:

If they are n00bs they are by definition dumber then you are. To dumb to handle any other weapon. So if you use that to your advantage and outsmart them instead of pulling a rambo style move and running into every fire fight... maybe you'd win. The fact that most of you idiots can't do that and rather complain about it being overpowered because YOU can't counter it, doesn't make the G36E a n00b gun, it makes you to stupid to be able to handle it. If you can't win against someone dumber then you then... you're just as stupid.

G36 is powerfull, deal with it some other way then charging up from the front...

Don't look at my stats like all of you seem to be doing to others. I am much better than what my stats appear to be...it's just hard to make up 300 hours of sucking-lately i've been owning like crazy with my PKM- it's an awesome weapon. I myself have nothing against burst...I use a machine gun but i fire semi-auto from far-off.it's awesome on the m16...(assault w/ m16 pwnz) but for the g36e, it just seemed really week, unlike the m16 which feels like a super-powerful and accurate 3 round burst that can pwn anyone with a couple clicks of the mouse...i'm sure just like any other weapon though if i stick to it it might be better than i think...much like on counter-strike source where , since the FAMAS was the cheapest assault rifle for CT, i thought it just was that way. But when i decided to try burst on Iceworld, it was the best weapon i had ever used (previous fave was AUG) so really if you just try out weapons for a while they can be really great- i actually think the PKM is cheap, but because i know how to use it. I don't fire full-auto from a mile away. I fire in bursts- this game is all about accuracy
