seems like a good gaming laptop. Can't comment on the price really because everything is so expensive in the UK
once upon a midnight dreary, while i pron surfed, weak and weary, over many a strange and spurious site of ' hot  xxx galore'. While i clicked my fav'rite bookmark, suddenly there came a warning, and my heart was filled with mourning, mourning for my dear amour, " 'Tis not possible!", i muttered, " give me back my free hardcore!"..... quoth the server, 404.

Seems rather expensive to me.

My brother got an £800 laptop from HP which is one of the sleekest, sexiest laptops I've ever seen bar the MacBook. 2GB RAM, 7400 but it plays HL2 on medium fine, 1.83GHz, Widescreen etc etc.

I'd keep looking. Laptops depreciate like anything, so I recommend spending a little less.

Depends on how demanding these dx10 games get, crysis being an example, you should be running nicely on that for quite a while though I should think   Good choice btw on rock
