I lol every time I think about the forum jockeys here that have knowledge of BF2 strat fit for a corporal. Its scary, have you learned anything from your hundreds of hours playing BF2? Or did you just decide everything you know the first time you played?

i was talking about IO where maps are close. So you snipe on huge spread out vehicle maps? Could you be less useful? You realize that anybody can choose to drive up to the flag u are defending, sit behind cover and capture it while u sit somewhere in useless obscurity? You guys will argue with me all day, but you can't pose any scenario that matters for the team where you'd be better off sniping. Dude have fun doing what you want, but don't pretend like it has some inherent value that you can't even back up after your 10 posts.

There is no such thing as a combat sniper. There are only Designated Marksmen & Scout Snipers. And by the looks of it you are neither.

Admitantly i was a noob for ages before i joined a clan, and its taking ages to dig myself out of that hole.

I'm sorry if I intimidated you Jemme101. If you are looking at my stats and concluding that I've only played Karkand, then youre wrong. I've played all 16 player CAL and TWL maps equally in hundreds of scrims and in just about all of them we were playing medic and AT only with the occasional spec op or engineer if its 8v8. Sniping is what you do to embarrass a team that is utterly outskilled, and it never works against good competition that plays medic. But if you want to bring up stats, people that are killing every couple minutes and not protecting flags (LIKE YOU) are not "useful for their team" as the OP invited us to discuss. I'm sorry that you have to attack me personally in some effort to defend your hobby. It would be easier on everyone if you just admitted "hey guys, i like to snipe, and its not that useful for the team because medics own snipers." Don't shoot the messenger.

Impossible, the uber usefull 1337-medic Marinejuana will revive all & defend CP's from miles away with (stat-)paddles
