I sit at home watching on a TV that's pushing 8-9 years. The VCR is a piece of shit when I want to record things... half the time it won't work. Down the left side (mainly) of the TV is a 'purple fringe'. Yes, that's right - the CRT is giving it up.

My tight-ass dad wont part with the relevent cash to get a new TV.

Every time there is a thunderstorm, I unplug everything (ie. computers) except that fucking TV... maybe mother nature will be kind one day.

At least my DVD player and surround sound kick ass...
