Yes, I am a mean, hateful person who says fuck you to people who profess compassion for those that die. No.ATG wrote:

Excellent point, +1.
It was a shitty, mean thing to say, what was there, 3 fuck yous? 4?
Pretty sorry assed shit.
We could fill up the fucking Internet with stories about death. Real people die every fucking day. Real people that have families, friends, coworkers. Why should I be more sorry and compassionate for these (VT)people?
Like I said before, I care deeply about all living things. I am a self-proclaimed humanist. Any vile bloodshed pisses me off, and at the same time depresses me. It is not mean, it is reality. I care about these people just as much as I care about people getting tortured in Zimbabwe or people dying in Iraq, or India, or Mexico, or Colombia, or Cuba, or Canada, or anywhere.
I should feel more compassion for these people because they were my countrymen/innocent/the result of wanton human craziness? But you guys, you who have your ribbons in your sigs and want to memorialize this and say "our thoughts are with those" (which in itself is not a bad thing, I support the intentions) I do say fuck you to you, because only when this happens 'close to home' or is some ridiculously violent act, only then do you give a fuck.
But I'm the asshole right?
