I also notice all the new games advertised seem to be geared for X-BOX&PS3
I buy most of my stuff online because it isn't available locally. Only two stores in my city have PC games, and the selection is dismal: Target and EB Games.
Superslim: Sounds a lot like consoles if you ask me. 'Hey look! New Zelda...whoops, it's for the Super Nintendo...whoops, for the N64...whoops, for the Gamecube.'
PC's are doable. Just don't get caught up in gimmicky hardware, and they'll be little more pricey than a PS3.
Victim: I see console and PC titles merging before that.Superslim wrote:

PC gaming is dieing because it cost to much money to buy a computer that can run new games well..

A M A Z O N Intl.
Shipping is free, so.... Ever imagined why that companies are that large and making that much profit?
I mean the most costs they have are of: logistics and customer support.

I buy all my games from the intrawebz.

You guys do not see my concern. If the people who sell PC games consider it pointless, then I feel the companies will eventually feel it is pointless also.
People will continue to buy computers, so companies will continue to make games.
True. But there is a new battlefield for XBox and not PC. Why?LT.Victim wrote:

Yeah I know how ya feel, EB has really gone down the tubes in the last years. Best Buy in Lancaster has a pretty decent selection of PC games, but the consoles have vastly more space. Also USMarine, how did you get banned on the 2007 account, I must have missed something somewhere, or are you even the same people or am I just on drugs?

I see your concern, but PC games sell as well as ever. Much of the market has moved online. The selection there is immense.usmarine2005 wrote:

Locally, as I've said before, two stores exist, but with dismal selection. Target's the same as it ever was, but Gamestop cut their stock entirely, and EB Games has only two small racks. I have go one or two towns over for a real selection, at a Best Buy or a Fred Meyer.
BF needed a console boost. We already have 2142 and a strong BF2 community. I expect the next PC BF will be visually incredible, if it can start without crashing.usmarine2005 wrote:

For PC stuff I shop online. For console stuff, I go to Best Buy.
