Did the climate change in recent years in your home city?

I noticed a huge change in Buenos Aires.  Today f.i. we have 32º in late April!!!!!  This is too hot.  Besides, it's rainning too often, and when I say rainning I mean it.  The rains now are tropical style, like the ones you can find in Costa Rica.  We have no winter.  I wonder if the guys in Sydney (we are in similar latitudes) noticed the same things.

I live near Newcastle in the North East of England and we have very mild winters nowadays.  Very few of those days which have a real chill in the air.  Now that we are in summer is seems blistering hot at times, even for April.  I have noticed that Daffodils have already started to die.

Here in Baile Átha Chliath (Dublin) we have had above average temperatures all month - it's more like May right now. I had lunch in the park in blazing warm sunshine when a couple of years ago it would have normally have been drizzling and certainly not as warm as this. I definitely have noticed differences over the past 10 years. We don't get snow at xmas time really anymore either. When I was a kid I can remember making big hefty snowmen and having snowball fights, alas no snow for the youth of today.

Almost no snow these days, plus it's currently the kind of weather I'd expect to get in the middle of summer.

It's called climate change; nothing to worry about, it's been happening for millenia and will continue to do so.

That's worrying.  I used to go to Newcastle quite often around 4-5 years ago and it was always bloody freezing

Poor ski-resorts is right. I was near the Swiss border skiing in France and skiing in the lower valleys is pretty damn ropey these days.

Seriously it always used to be freezing, especially being on the coast of the North Sea, but there has been a drastic change.  Its that blanket of smog that keeps you guys warm over in Middlesbrough ...j/k

United States, Tennessee. The past five-six winters have been noticeably, and progressively shorter and milder. Hell, I went out on the lake in the middle of January this year and it was hot. Right now it should be cold and miserable, but it's been in the high 70's for the past month. At this point I'm a little apprehensive about how bad the summer is going to be. Oh well.

Look through the history books and all of the above situations have been seen before.  We had a mini Ice Age in England in the middle ages follwed by heat wave.  I'm not anti-global warming but I don't like it when people suggestr that because it was hotter this year than last it is proof of global warming.  When the tempretures never change is when I'll worry!

It is getting harder and harder to spend days at the beach, and I'm a native Floridian .

April has been unusually cool though.

Well...it's south Texas, in the middle of April, and it's freaking cold here.  Normally it should be in or just at triple digit temperatures by now.
