D&ST Hall of Fame Induction Vote

As you may know, there is now a D&ST Hall of Fame to honor the best threads and active members in the D&ST. One of these individuals will be inducted into the D&ST for the month of April and the members will decide who through this poll.

Rules:
-Member with most votes is inducted into Hall of Fame
-We reserve the right to induct more than one member if we feel that voting reflects this.
-Everybody can use their own criteria to evaluate the members.
-Next month, a new poll will be created for selction of May's inductee
-Voting will close one week from today's date/time.
-Most importantly, this thread/idea is to have a little bit of fun. Its not a cut throat competition for people to fight among themselves.

Should you not ask for names rather than just list some yourself, it sure limits our choices and isn`t really a real choice !

And i`m not saying that because i`m not nominated !

Edit: I will also never leave a vote in such a poll since this is making an elitist member-group that was never the intention of the forum, the regulars recognizes themselves all the time and i still think its way off the chart and a bad case of segregation !

If i`m the only one with this opinion i`ll never mention it again !

The hall of fame for great threads however is just fine, specially good threads should be recognized !

These guys all contribute towards what makes D&ST the subforum that it is but I had to choose Gunslinger (invaluable first hand Iraq stories & a reasonable attitude) over Serge (prolific & intelligent thread creator).

I have not voted. I will wait to see if anyone provides me with an argument for one person or another. I see several people who were NOT nominated whom I would vote for before I vote for any of these.

There was a bit of a misunderstanding there between me and Soup. I posted him the 10 I thought should be in the poll thinking that he would take a list of 10 from ATG, usmarine and Kmarion, meld them together and then post an amalgamated, 'Hall-of-Fame'-agreed-upon ten. Unfortunatley he posted my 10 without realising that's what I had intended. If I knew those 10 would go up I would have revised the selection a bit - I erred on the side of the left thinking the rest of the Hall-of-Famers (predominantly conservative) would select mostly right wingers. My bad. I would have had deeznutz and a few others in there to balance 'the force'. However lowing has as much conservatism in him as a small army of conservatives so maybe that balances things out a bit...

Perhaps a thread where we simply wrote a name? Have the thread temporarily stickied during the voting process. No discussion or explanations. If you decide to add more than a name to the thread it would be deleted and your vote is null. After the time is up unsticky it and allow people to comment.

Either that or PM's (Once again more work for poor Supa ).

I'd have to choose between lowing and Bubbalo. Tough call, though. Maybe those two need to wrestle for victory.

Lowing is my final choice, though. I don't agree with him often, but he is a LEGENDARY D&STer, and therefore should be in the Hall of Fame for Legendaryness.
