When your a medic/support personel and you throw the bags on the ground do you still gain heal points like when you hold it?
Yes.
Holy crap! I did not know this, I always sat there with the bag and it took forever, the medic badge is looking alot better now.
they do disappear after awhile, so think about where you are throwing and how long ago it was you left some in any particular place.
I thought they disappeared only if you die.oberst_enzian wrote:

ive died and gotten a heal point at least 30 seconds later so just toss em all around the front lines and ull get plenty of points throw them all around the beginning at karkand plenty of wounded people and they heal a lot faster if u throw the pack at them so i never hold them
they stay around after you die, yes, but they do eventually disappear - it's either based on the time they've been lying there, or the amount that you have thrown out. also, there's a glitch on warlord (SF), wherein if you throw medipacks on the ground in the some of the corridors of the palace, they disappear through the floor. all of this is the same for supports ammo bags.
LOL thanks for all your help the very first rounds I threw stuff i got both my medic and support badges. Now all i need is knife and explosive ordinace and I will have all the basic badges
well, good luck. there's lots of threads already posted about knife and explosive ord., so you should find all the tips you need. happy badging.

IAR: 10 people die in your area while you're holding out your bag and don't toss them so people will instantly heal/resupply

I believe when you die, they stay around until your kit disappears from the ground, although I may be wrong. Otherwise, the time to disappear is comparable to the time it takes an unattended Vodnik/HMMV to be "cleared" by the map.
Good to see another Strongbad fan here. Even though the relevance is unknown.Tyferra wrote:
