Hello, I just got windos Vista For FREE from my dad's work! Does vista work well with BF2? I was just wondering.

Yes but be aware it uses alot more Ram than XP......so if you only have 1gb BF2 will run like shit.
2gig ram it runs ok

I do not recommend it for at least 6 more months or a bit less. I have a free upgrade of vista prem. but it's not getting loaded yet. Seems to be too much trouble with drivers and such.

Yes it will run on 1gb but sluggish at best.....

After installing the 158.18 nvidia drivers Bf2 plays the same as XP. The only problem I'm having with Vista atm is my hard drive. Vista kicks the crap outta it. It's a SATA II 7,200rpm but it doesn't seem anywhere near fast enough.

It works fine on Vista. Instead of double clicking your icon though, right click and select "Run as Administrator". You'll be fine.
I run it with 4Gb RAM and an 8800gfx card (764Mb ram) and it is sweet. I have had no end of problems getting it to work with my microphone though but that is because my soundcard is not optimised for Vista and therefore not a game issue.
