Okay I was wondering if I could turn off the map and how the player's name comes up when you are looking at them. I'm going to start filming and I don't want the map, and I certainly don't want the player's names showing up in my finished project. I'm guessing I'll probably have to do it from within the command screen (~) but I wouldn't know the commands. Please help!

- Turning off Map and player's names, if possible
renderer.drawHud 0 turns the hud off
renderer.drawHud 1 turns it back on.
Note: U cant see your crosshairs either.
EDIT: I dont know if this works on player names but if your having probs with that just put all the players on the other team and use a prog like teamspeak so u all can chat.

awsome, thanks! That works pretty well, I'll just have the other actors be on the other side
Or you can simply go into your HUD display settings in Video Options and fade them out to 0%. When are you planning on posting your movie?
you can get rid of all the tags to make movies by adding a line to one of your .con files... make sure you backup this file or you will get a modified content error when you try to play multiplayer...
heres a link that explains it all....
