BF2S Forums Purple Heart

Still no purple heart at 410 hours. I guess I just rock.

when i first started playing this with my friends we played SF.we were at levathian(sp?) and we had all just started,so we sucked horribly.i think i got a purple heart in my first 3 rounds of playing Battlefield.when i got it i was like "Yes!Check it out I got an award!"

Second day I had the game.  Wake, North Village spawnraped.  I really thought that the support machine guns could damage a chopper enough to make them leave.  I shouted on coms to clanmates, "I got a purple heart!".  They then replied, "yeah that means you suck".  Kinda sad since they were the ones who gave it to me.  Since then, I just hand them out, instead of receiving them...

BF2 was my first online FPS, so, I was horrible at first.  But it's kinda cool, I got my Purple Heart on September 11th.  So, in a way, it made getting it a little, less crappy.

On topic, I got mine on Songhua Stalemate.  I was a complete nub at the time, and when I saw the requirements for the purple heart as opposed to the rest, I was like "Ohhh! I can get that!."  So I took a jeep and drove it into the water 20 times .

Lol I got my first one on purpose because I just wanted fill that gap in my award list  and  I let my brother kill me like 9 times but then a couple of months later I got another one which i earned in wake at the hands of the j-10 at the carrier and in the black hawk trying to CAP FLAGS

I handed 2 last nite in ghost town

Don't have it on this one, but on my old account I got it on Karkand playing with the G3. THese were my early days, and before the G3 got the 1.2 buff. I felt proud until I learned what the requirements were.

This is how i got mine, i was raped at the begining for like 16 deaths then we capped a flag and i got the required kills and deaths. O well

I had had the game for a few days and me n a mate had a comp to see who could get the most awards.
We were playing and I had about 5/12 on FuShe. So I finished off the deaths by blowing myself up.

I was so thrilled to earn a medal. I just saw it as a free medal for playing crap!! Then....I realised how bad it was
If I hadnt have done that - I wouldnt have earnt it to date And I believe thats where my death streak came from too
