put your mouse sensitivity on 0.3 and then select an ak and aim at the head on single shot and you will see why the gun is cool.

I treat all whiners a bit like idiots. They know G36E is better, but then they do illogical thing and choose worse weapons than they have access too. And then they say they are pr0 because they don't use unlocks.. like someone cares. But well.. Average IQ of BF2 players is much below 100 so maybe thats why.
I use my intelligence and make logical choices or the ones which I like the most (I like L85A1). If you don't want to use unlocks don't.. noone gives a shit anyway.

as to the debate i believe that in a medium to long range fire fight where both parties spot each other at the same time the g36e is the better close up or at longe range where the target is unawre the AK is better because the g36e gives him that extra shot to kill during which he can get up and find cover. i have to say i've never felt unfairly dominated by the g36e or felt that some one has won a shoot out when he really shouldn't have thanks to it. truth be told i've never noticed it being used on me. might be because most of my time is on special forces.

The G36E is so accurate that a "noob" can rack up kills. . . . The gun is suited best in medium to long range encounters, however I find it "fair" when you go up against anything else in close. Unless you get the first shot on someone, generally you will drop first against anything else. I only use that gun when I either play SAS or pick up a kit.

There are certain elements of skill involved in using the AK and M16 that you don't learn from a G36E. If you can use an AK or m16 properly you can use the 'E much more effectively.. and as most players never use either non-unlock gun they never learn and stick to their flawed 'E tactics.
As for the G36E being better, once you've spent a few hundred hours using an AK or M16 you learn how to make a bullet land when you want it, to the point that you can user either of those guns more effectively than a G36E in any situation other than long range fights (in which the 'E is annoyingly better than pretty much anything else. I use a pistol for long range headshots more often than not)

I use the Ak 101 cause it looks cool and is full auto, I can't really do the ranged shots I used to get with the g63e but I find it more fun to paste people to the wall with auto fire than triple shot.

Why? In SCRIMS you cannot use unlocks. Thus, in scrims, there are NO g36es. Learn to use the aks and the m16s or you will phail.
