Ok, u may find this funny, but i ran over the install disk with my computer chair and it cracked, (and no im not fat, 68 kg), what do i do now, i still have the cd key (obviously), i really feel like playing bf2 again, I bought BF2142 for no reason, it sucks tremendously....does any 1 have any advice (besides borrowing from a friend).

Google, Bittorrent and Daemon tools are your friends. OR if you have SF you can use SF's disk one to play BF2 & SF... (But not install BF2.)

Buy a new one, other than that unless you backed it up you'r screwed, but you could sell the new cd key to recoup some of your losses.

Can't you use a program like alcohol to copy all the contents of a disk to your computer and make a new disk?? I know you don't have a disk but you could borrow your friends for I duno...20 minutes and have a new cd.

Unfortunatly i dont have the SF disk, i just when to A lan cafe, to get the unlocks LOL.

If you already have BF2 installed, then go out and buy SF, you get new maps and are able to play both SF and BF2.

You can use Alcohol 120%, download a BF2 CD image from the internet, and create a virtual drive with the BF2 CD image mounted on it. That way, your computer will think you always have the CD in the drive, so you'll never need the CD to play again.

Also, borrow a friend's CD to make a backup of it in case you want to install it elsewhere in the future.

Also, I suggest you do some cleaning up, to prevent other disks from being broken too.
