No, if you pickup someone else's kit you will need the same macro for it to work(duh), he clearly hasn't got a macro and it gave him full auto.']['error wrote:

One time while playing USMC on kark, i was carrying an M16, and I decided to take a AK101. But when i fired, all i could do was 3 round burst. I was kinda pissed because I like the fact that Aks have full auto. I think it is possible to do this with any assault rifle. It would be strange if it could happen to SMG's or Snipers, but I havet ever seen that done.
Easiest way to do it is to set up a key on your keyboard as a secondary fire button. Hold the button down and you've got a full auto.
Been doing that trick since the first Delta Force game.

Never noticed it till you mentioned it i had an M16 but the game thought i has a G36E man that M16 was god like killed ppl in 1 burst.

G36K = short barrel.
G36E = standard barrel, forward pistol grip.
MG36 = heavy barrel, bipod, C-Mag.
Except burst always pwns in df1.ts-pulsar wrote:

That it did, but going full auto was nice sometimes since the game had no recoil and the guns were always accurate. I remember being able to control almost the entire map using that trick with the M4.UUD40 wrote:

Humm as long as i know its still the l85 wich is beeing used..it just have the M16 look and sound.
Ive myself seen an l85 who was having the same sound as an M16...was pretty cool.
ive experienced the glitch before. i also assumed it was just an auto m16 like many of you, but watching this video where he just empties a clip on full auto, im counting like at least 35 shots that he fires before it runs out of ammo. that probably means that you are watching 900 rpm animations for a clip of L85 ammo that goes 600 rpm. but for all i know, different properties of weapons are handled by more than one file or chunk of code, so the auto-m16 could have a mix of features of the two depending on what the glitch does. i agree that when i used it it seemed to function just as u would expect from a full auto m16, so i wasnt inclined to see it as merely a skin.Shiffdaddy wrote:

It's just the model / sound of the M16A2, the server registers it as an L85A1 / AK-101 or whatever the kill message says, so however much you think it "pwnz" is just a placebo effect.
