I searched and could not find a definitive answer.  Do revive points count for the 25 needed for expert badge?  I am getting ready to try and get this badge so I am wondering if I need to worry about reviving as much as healing.

i dont think so cause they never say u got a heal point for reviving and the expert 1 needs healpoints right?

If they counted revives as heals then I'd probably have the expert one already. People are alot better at dying then just getting hurt, making this badge pretty tough I'd say heheh

I hate when people who are obviously hurt keep running away from the Medics with the first aid kit out and ready to drop....

yeah, damn those idiots. either they keep on calling for medics and when someone is about to heal them they run in the opposite direction (usually in the direction where a lot of opponents are) or they are hurt but don't call for a medic so they don't see that you are heading for them and again they head for more opponents.
either way the medic usually gets killed or at least badly hurt in the process

Atleast you can throw a bag down to (hopefully?) get their attention. As opposed to being the poor engineer on foot chasing down the tank that keeps saying "NEED REPAIRS!" while it drives away from you and your wrench.

I wish there was a "get repairs here!" radio button.

"Get your repairs here! faust82's auto shop currently has a special on oil changes! Get your pre-sale fix&assessment, and we'll change the windshield wipers for free!"

I'm SO going to make that a team-say macro as soon as I figure out how, if possible, I can.

I hate it when there's some ammo guy or a medic right in front of you stnading still, and you run around them in circles shouting "I NEED AMMO" or health, whatever.

Sometimes I take a few shots at them in the leg with my pistol to get their attention.

But then they're all like WTF YOU DOING?!

Phrases they need on radio chat: Enemy Mine Spotted, and "On my way". How many times has someone asked for reinforcements only to have 'yes sir' answered... kinda blindly I must say.

Well, I can't but agree such people are complete fags. Unfortunately, the opposite happens as well. I was left with 2 health bars, so asked for a medic and saw one right by me. So I start running to him, and as soon as I'm 1 meter away from him, he runs off to mind his own fucking business. I think he didn't hear the call. So I ask for a medic again, and again, and again, up to 5 or 6 times, all the time chasing the medic, say, 30cm behind him, and he keeps ignoring me and running somewhere... In the end, I couldn't refrain myself from stopping and M95 headshooting him from behind. What a moron.

They really should have a voice command for "I'm a medic" like they do for Enemy Territory.

Haha I swear I was behind a support guy once and I asked for ammo. He was in my squad even ... nothing. I asked again and he turns around, points his gun right at me, and teamkills me. I didn't know wtf to think.

nope.. First Aid is strictly the amount of healing points.. if revive points would count then i would have had the expert for decades now

get on karkand or sharqi and run around with your bag out(no not your hairy beanbag u perverts), toss those bags on the ground near any group of guys.  helps to spawn in a big squad thats sticking together.

Amusingly enough, Battlefield 1942 had all of these phrases.  You could announce your class, your needs, your plans, etc.  It's all been removed for BF2.  Why?

Sorry to bring an old thread up but at least I used the beloved search button.
I was looking at what badges I could get right now, I don' usually care about them but sometimes I go on a badge hunt. My stat page said I could get expert heal with 15 hours of being a medic. I thought this was wrong, since you need 100 for most expert badges, so I checked UBAR and it said the same thing. Can anyone verify this please.
Another question to those who got it, how did you do it? I thought I couldn't go wrong with a 64 Karkand map, gave it 3 tries, I once spent a couple of minutes getting raped by a tank under the square flag and getting lots of heals with some other dudes who got stuck there, but I still didn't get the badge. Any advice? Or should I wait till I have 100 hours?

Well requirements for support is 100 hours and then 25 IAR. Medic is 750 heals global and then 25 IAR. So it is correct im pretty sure or ive wasted a week trying to get it.
