Someone said you can line up tv shots better by using the tab button. Anyone know anything about this?

If you're on dragon valley and can't see your crosshair, hit tab and you can see your crosshair. You can't guide a missile while holding tab though...

does this trick work for jets?
you don't really need this for jets, as you don't need to guide any missiles. jet missiles auto lock...
tab real fast, align your crosshair and then guide, repeat when needed.
