I can't play SF because I tried to change a sound file. I wanted to change the noise of the zipline to "weeeeeeeeee". I know naughty me for trying to change the files, but I made a backup of the original sound. I tried to put it back to normal with the backup and it still doesn't work. When I try to join a server it always says "PUNKBUSTER ERROR: This server requires a genuine copy of Bf2 SP. Please revert back to the normal copy." or something like that. My friend said that if you did something like this in WoW, they have a program that comes with the game that's supposed to fix things like this. Does BF2 SF have anything like this? I only need like 20 flashbang/zipline/grapple to get a badge.
Uninstall, reinstall, works (almost) every time.
its probs coz the MD5's are differant

Yeah one problem, my dad lives halfway across the country with my SF cd. We made a virtual drive so I didn't need to bring it with me when I went to my mom's.
If you give us the exact names of the files, someone can email them to you as it sounds like you only changed one file.

I had to laugh when I imagined this.
