personally i think one of the requirements for officer ranks starting with 2nd Lt. should be a War College ribbon (kinda like you finished the academy). make it more realistic and more importantly more dificult to get
Edit: in fact i think the requirement should be all the vanilla ribbons, this would ensure that the officer is a decent player or a good hacker either way he deserves to be an officer

I highly doubt they'll drastically change the point requirements, if at all.
After General they can't really go much higher, so if they make everything lower, everyone will have the ranks sooner, and then the top players will have nowhere to go, Just like now all the 2nd Lt have nothing to look forward to(until the patch)

I don't want to sound like a jerk... but that would suck. Do you honestly thing anyone got that ribbon wihtout intetionally switching teams to win? I seriously doubt it. It would only encourage a bunch of stacked teams and make the game not worth playing. I only hope the bridge the gap between 50k and 200k with at least 4 of the 10 ranks. Major is where its at. Something beautiful about how it rings in my ears. But i love my rank right now (first sergeant). Officer grades would be mad tight though.

Well I would like to be a captain beacuse once you get to the higher ranks you rarely see combat.
I also like the idea of officers having to have commander time seeing as how that is what the possitions are used for. Mabey 2nd lt through major should have squad leader time and commander time and after that just a hell of alot of commander time.
