When I saw ur bit about frontline and claymores I went *ouch*, claymores are for capping flags, defending flags or protecting urself whilst sniping. If you spam claymores and get owned and get kills from it Im gonna cry. Sniper accuracy doesnt necessarly mean ur a good sniper but still nice global position there. Im an assault sniper by nature. I kill lots of people, cap flags, defend flags and help my team by swapping kits when they need revives. Thats what I do and thats what I enjoy. Snipers who sit back are boring.FinnTrek wrote:

I seldom be with my sniper rifle in the front line, if I do I use claymores.
When I am a sniper, I am always moving and hiding for a short period in the medium to long distance to enemy. That is the key. When in long distances I have not learn to have the right bullet drop in all shots, but the most shots are now hitting , and I can see results => # 374. in global sniper accuracy.
Best of this game is when you have a GOOD hiding place and you see enemy soldiers panicking for you and looking you from wrong places. And then killing them.

If I'm USA, I'll grab my M-24 and climb to some-place high up, and shoot at any target I see.
If I'm on any map with an Airfield, M-95 every time

usually the only time i ever play sniper anymore is on Ghost Town,so i just sit in a hole and take pot shots.that tower in the middle of the map makes a damn good hole though.it covers just about the entire map except for a few bases and provides lots of easy targets.

If I'm USMC I use the M95 and you HAVE to skulk around with that thing. It takes 17 minutes to chamber a round. If I'm MEC I use the first gun and just try to unload all 10 rounds in a clip as quickly as I can, so I will make for the front lines with that thing...
I feel the main role of a sniper is spotting while on top of cranes and buildings and taking out the odd noob who sits on a flag or in a ground defence position.
I don't snipe. The hitreg in this game sucks too much...
I do all of it. Sure close range sniping is the most fun, but some camping is nice too
