Well they seem to be respecting the Iraqi border a lot less now than before the US invaded. Did Britain deal with the IRA by destroying the whole of Ireland to counter terrorism? ...no and we now have peace. Wars don't combat terrorism, effective intelligence and policing does.

i dont know what you do for a living, and i dont really care, but chances are you are not a craftsman. what i do takes considerable skill and knowledge, thats why my high end knives sell for over a thousand dollars now....when im 25.....imagine what kind of money people are going to pay when im a mastersmith.


let me give you an idea.....one of my mentors recently sold a custom knife for $15,000.

And I do believe they are helping out with Iraq in their own way (criticism perhaps?) but a full fledged Red Cross mission can't happen until it calms down a bit.  Even if we pulled out today, stability to allow the aid is a long way off.

We give the lives of our soldiers so that Iraq can be a rock in the middle east as it was before. Furthermore, your assumption that the west created this tsunami is false. That region hasn't seen calm waters in a long time.
