Well i've been interested in a long time in a gaming notebook so I can play on the go.  But, here is what I picked.

Alienware M5550 w/ 15.4" Monitor
CPU: C2D 2.0GHz 4MB Cache
RAM: 2GB DDR2 667
GPU: nVidia Go 7600
HD: 100GB 7200RPM
OS: Windows XP

So what do you think?  Think I can play BF2 on medium to high settings?

medium for sure. high might be pushing it...

almost the same specs as my laptop and i can get by on some custom settings between medium and high.

What other games can you play on yours?  I'm hoping to play C&C3 with mine.

the only other thing ive had on there is oblivion which it handles ok at customized settings. (certain things high with others low, so a custom "medium" of sorts)

You can definitely get away with CnC3 on some very nice GFX with it. It's not that intense of a game. Only thing that gives me lag is when I watch a nuke go off.

Hmm I guess I made a good choice then for the money.  Here is the link to the notebook.

Edit:  I paid just over $2000 for it but i'm hoping it will last a couple years.  Going to take it to AIT training with me.
