Bush will go against the majority will of the elected representatives of the American people. Simple as that. Democracy in action.
if this wasn't inteded as a joke, what exactly are you saying?
Looks pretty obvious to me. The majority voted to pull out of Iraq, by vetoing that Bush is going against the majority.
Uh , the majority voted for a timetable for withdrawal. I think we all want to pull out at some point..lol

Looks pretty obvious to me. The majority voted to start pulling out of Iraq in October, by vetoing that Bush is going against the majority.

The terrorists gather their agents in Afghanistan and Iraq and fight the Americans here. If you pull back, the terrorists will follow you there. They will try, at least.
What a load of crap. As if the handful of men needed for an attack within the US are actually making a difference  by staying in their country now. What kind of retards do they think we are feeding us this bullshit.
The "fight them over there..." talking point from Cheney is getting pretty old, and its just that, nothing more than another empty talking point.  There isn't a terrorist hiding under every bed and there never was.  They don't even have Cobra Crimson Guarduniforms hanging in the closets.

The reality is that if they want to do anything, they will, whether there is a war going on or not.  Thats the magic thing about terrorism.  The best way to combat terrorism is to shrug it off and make sure law enforcement is equipped and able to do its job in a way that doesn't sacrifice your civil liberties.  If you lose your civil liberties, the terrorists win without firing a shot.  If you lose your sense of freedom, the terrorists won without firing a shot.  If you let your fear effect your daily life, the terrorists won.  If you let corporations and the government rob your blind or put you in the tax hole in the name of terrorism, the terrorists (and the contractors) win.  If you get into a pissing contest trying to defend the neo-con pro-terrorist policies and feel like punching someone out, the terrorists win.  You lose.  End of story.

Personally, I'm not letting some bogeyman, no matter how real, take away my American birthright - my constitutional freedoms.  I'd rather be dead or far away.  And if you think the neo-cons truely have your safety or personal interest at heart in anything they do, you're an idiot.

I think a timetable was the point of the topic, I don't think I was being overly specific in what I pointed out
But more importantly it was an easy jab at you .

Like I said, we all want out, some of us just want to tell our enemies so they can plan their vacations around it. How do we know there isn't a timetable anyways? Strategically it makes no sense to make that public, aside from the oppositions own political gain. Troop redeployment should be based upon current military briefings. The same type of briefings Pelosi had to skip this week because of "scheduling conflicts". I guess meeting with our top commanders in Iraq is not as important as flying to Damascus to meet with Syrians.

You're hilarious. And full of shit, as usual.
I had no intention of humor, in fact I am quite serious, and one thing I am not, is full of shit. Opinionated and stubborn, yes, but being insincere is not a character trait that I carry...

Again I am ashamed that the "leaders" of our House of Representatives that have voted for this bill , again. It looks like the Senate will follow suit. I can't believe my country has the perception that we might have lost this War, with enemies creating bombs no better than MacGyver. That is a load of shit.
