just curious how long some of you have been playing these type of games. I never played one on the computer until battlefield, so it took me a while to grasp the keyboard mouse combo. Are most of the computer iwar games the same as far as keys to shoot and what not?

Since Wolfenstein came out in '92.
Doom when i was 5 at my schools pc lab. The teacher's aide brought it in as an experiment

Original R6, duno what year though, I didn't get it as soon as it came out.
Orginal Doom at work - I used to make custom deathmatch maps (mostly level 1 edits) to keep it fresh and fun

and i started on cs about 2 years ago and still perfer it now
wolfenstein3d... doom... d3d... quake... unreal... the classics. I never really like wolf3d, but I liked doom1,2,3 and quake 1,2... unreal was bad ass for its time, my comp could barely run it.
My first was Counterstrike about 5 years ago. I still play that game occasionally.
