He should also have to do some community service at a zoo or something & learn to be responsible for animals in his care.
A very sad story that could have been prevented with a little common sense.

What really gets me is that some of these people think they did nothing wrong

example : 2 days ago on local news a lady had 20+ dogs in her house of 800+sq.ft. - most where beyond help bc of no nourishment and none of these dogs had been outside for months, her house was one pure disguesting pile but she didn't understand what she did wrong, Animal Serives had to but on bio suits to enter the house to rescue the dogs - she now is in jail, waiting her trial (I'll try to find link)

but it amazes me that these people just don't understand what they did

and PETA they think that they are doing good but on a overall picture they are doing worse then they are doing right

Way to bring the war in Iraq into this.

We had some woman over here in Oregon who hoarded like 140 rabbits. Went to jail, got out, then stole every one of them back. People are so stupid.

Anyone who has a low enough self esteem to hurt defenseless animals needs psychiatric help. (imo you could include hunters in that group if they're killing just because they have a gun, if you're doing it for food, that's different).

Human rights are certainly important, but America can't intervene on any human rights issues without looking hypocritical as hell as long as we have China as our "most favored trade nation."

China isn't exactly a bastion of human rights and freedom.
