I feel for Chechnya, I think they are about to get Artied back into the stone age.
And I feel bad for the russian troops (that Last time i heard russia cannot feed and have to stand on the streets and beg) that are about to get sent into the storm. I just hope russia learned that just because they are using armor don't make them impervious to dismounts on the roofs with RPGs. Chechnian rebels were one of the first to use IEDs to an real sort of effect. Hopefully Putin will not push russia into another fight.

The Russians have practically finished off the rebel groups in Chechnya, this was the first attack in a long time. There's no way the Russians can let Chechnya become independant as the country really would literally fall into the hands off radical Islamists hell bent on killing Russians. As far as I know there is very little oil in Chechnya but there is an important oil line that links the Caspian sea to Russia either built or planned.
