It says:
Damage: 32
A shot to the neck is like a shot to the leg?
A shot from a mile is like a shot from a knife range?

it doesn't matter for most guns expect when dealing with headshots.  when dealing with the shot-guns however it matters a great deal.  the pump-action shotguns are intsanly fatal at very close range and point-blank, but won't do as much damage if fired from futher out.  the benfit of firing the other guns closer to the target is that more of your shots are likely to hit the target.  it's a question of accuracy at range really, the dmage stays consisent, but it's all about how many of your shots actually hit the intened traget.  with sniper rifles a shot to the head at any range is a one-shot-kill while a body shot is usually a two or 3 shot kill depending on the rifle and the damage the target has already taken.

So it does matter with sniper rifle?
And thank you, I didn't know it's that way, I'm sure this info would help me while playing!
