It takes a lot of dedication to be a true libertarian, I went the other way and decided that governments not regulating business is a bad thing in the face of multi-national corporations with the same power as a nation. Anarchic city-states is the way to go!

Yeah, the left-Libertarian slant tends to favor that idea. Basically, keeping the government out of your personal business and decentralizing authority are great. Yet, we still need some regulation to keep corporations from raping the rights of individuals.

It's basically Libertarianism with a healthy dose of reality.

Sorry, I do not need to take a test, my views and feelings on every topic do not follow a political agenda. I do not believe a thing because it is considered right or left or center. My views are based on how I judge issues morally, rationally, and realistically. It just so happens I think the left is wrong on socialism, the war and countless other issues. I do not feel this why because it is left thinking, I feel this way because it just so happens this is how the left thinks, and I don't.

You guys have already labeled me as a Nazi, a fascist, a racist and a neo-con, and these are labels I can live with because, the truth is on my side.

Lowing, I see where you're coming from, but "the truth is on my side" is pretty similar to what an Islamist would say.

I don't think this is a matter of truth vs. fallacy, since so much of "truth" is relative.

But hey, I'm glad you try to focus on what you see as logical. Being an independent thinker is a good thing. I can respect that, even if we usually disagree on things.

mm kay, the answer choices are not "lib" "mod" or "consv", they are varying degress on whether or not you agree with statements. Your views are "how I judge issues morally, rationally, and realistically". This test shows where your views fall in accordance with others, who also "judge issues as morally, rationally, and realistically" as you do.

You may not think a certain way becuase that way is left; you are left (in that area) because you think that way. Repeat above enough times, and you can be generalized (obviously, not completely or with stark precision) as to falling into a right (or left or centrist or any other of the multitudes of ideologies) mindset. Dont be so standoffish, its just an e-questionairre. Besides, "the truth is on my side."

Agreed. I don't think gays should have special rights either.

It's like the hate crime issue and affirmative action. Every murder is a hate crime, and affirmative action only promotes reverse racism.

a more socialistic society would treat everyone evenly, so no one is more important than anyone else, and everyone deserves a chance in everything, so writers/artists are just as important as businessmen

'Tend' is a tenuous term to use in reference to the economic situation of writers and artists. Like any other businessman who isn't born with a silver spoon, their wealth greatly depends on their personal success. The sheer amount of questions about art, placed beside the what...one or two questions about immigration? None about gun control and self-defense? The test could've been weighted better.

not so much as the whole right wing as more conservative. lowing is a staunch conservative in our department yet has left the forums. You marine are a staunch conservative as well. your post in most of these topics in D&ST show that. Cyborg whom ive know since 2005 shows a conservative bias as well when it comes to economic and some social situations.
