Hi folks.

I've been playing PF2 for a while now and have gone up a few ranks, however i now can't login to join a multiplayer session as it bombs me back out to the desktop.

I've got 2 accounts, one is offline so i can play single player, and i can get into that fine.

The other is an online account, but when joining that, it waits for a bit, ADSL light flashes for a while then bombs me out.

Am running patch 1.41.

The only things that have changed since i last logged onto my online account are:
1) We recently moved house so i have a new ADSL connection, can surf the interweb fine, so i'm unsure if this is the cause.

2) I've upgraded from a CRT to a new LCD screen. Surely this can't stop loading my account?

Strange that i can log into my online account and play that, nothing up with the install i think?

Any help would be most appreciated.

I can see my having to uninstall everything and start again!

google is your friend, try to look it up there. I think it should have sth to do with your connection, but i'm not sure.

btw, try to delete the movies : mods/movies...this helped and reduced some lags for me during login...try that

Are you trying to login by using the shortcut ''Play BF2 Online Now!'' Because in the past I had some problems with using that shortcut. If that isn't the problem then I have no idea what could be the problem.

Deleted the movies ages ago, yes great quick start up times.

Also tried using any/ either icon from desktop or from putting in DVD and using that.

Have tried EA's site but all their links are down with an Apache error for some reason.

right click on the executable and select properties.

click the last tab and choose another way of executing for example windows 2000

otherwise reinstallation 


btw: try to delete and retrieve your account

see if you patched correclty

maybe system restore could help you

I had to delete my account then retrieve it again for it to log in ok.
