True! blind patriotism is bad! If you are unable to decifer right from wrong, and apply that to your countries actions, you have issues. . . .
Some people think I have blind patriotism when it comes to the War on Terror, I just simply support my governments actions against terrorists and their cronies!! An action that has put the world on notice that the United States isnt putting up with terrorism/murderous dictators anymore!

Patriotism is a good thing, and its something I envy of the US. We only have patriotism in Brazil every four years around June, during the World Cup.
But, like religion, it can be a bad thing when it becomes fanatical.

I would prefer to think of my views as what is best for the human race as a whole, and if my nation is currently furthering that cause then they happen to deserve my support.
