Okay i got a problem for a few weeks now, every time i start my computer ( windows Xp ) my applications start but then the screen turn black and after my screen is in 16 bits... Avg(my anti virus) then update and everything look like crap. I have to turn it back manually every time. I've made some search and maybe i dont have the right keywords but i can't find anything...

Possible two fixes for your case:

1- If you have your system restore activated, select a date in the calendar that had your correct graphics display.
2- When your system is booting press the F8 key and select normal boot.

Also, after mashing the F8 key, and after choosing Safe Mode, and after choosing Windows XP, and after the different boot screen, and after the longer load times, and after realising its in a lower res, and after logging in as Administrator it tells you You're In Safe Mode in case you hadn't gathered that already.

New drivers looksit. Try making a new User (or logging in as someone else) and see if it does the same thing.
