I live in the Pacific Northwest and my pings are usually around 100. On a good day they'll drop into the 70's. The other day, for the first time, they dropped into the high 40's and life was wonderful. I didn't realize how much a difference the ping made but, wow! When I pressed a button, things actually happened. I could enter vehicles without a 10 second wait, I can jump distances without falling between them... how good it is.

So my question is this: are there any local (Seattle, Portland, Spokane, Pullman) servers that anybody knows about?

Vagrant clan has a good server. i live in Washington and its the only server i been playing on since i get about 35 ping. its a Karkand 32 man server, just look for the *=V=* after the server name

LOL. Here in switzerland you're lagging like hell on the Vagrant server, played it today.

based in seattle, live in vancouver BC, us up here average 9-12 ping on cable, 30-40 on adsl.
32 player size, usually 64 sized maps, almost full rotation, switch it up here and there, NOT infantry only, and respectably admined, noone under 20 in clan, so no 12 year olds kicking you because you pwned them a few times, or you got the chopper first. tking for a vehicle/redlining = kick, ban if you come back and do it again. but thats about it, oh and definately no racial remarks and no blatant disrespect to anyone.
