I am really pissed off at the ineptitude running rampant in todays schools.  I made this thread so that everyone can share their stupid teacher stories and I don't have to feel like it is just me.

I had the stupidest english teacher in 7th grade.  I had an arguement with several of my classmates over whether the moon was its own planet or not.  Then I tell the teacher that they don't even know that the moon is not a planet, and she sides with them.  You could actually see my jaw drop.  I was shocked when I figured out that she wasn't kidding.  We had a 7 minute arguement in front of the entire class about it.  I tried to explain to her why the moon could not possibly be a planet aqnd that I thought it was common knowledge.  THE MOON is A FRICKING MOON!  Thats why it is called THE MOON!!!!!!(I didnt actually say that out loud BTW)  She called my parents and told the I was "too smart for my own good" and that I was way to arrogant.  Needless to say, I was soon pulled out of her class.

um.
when i was taking AP us history in high school, my teacher thought somalians came from the samoan islands...i wanted to die...but i figured he just messed up.
but when he told me that an M1 garand was a bottom fed clip loaded rifle i lost all hope.
*we were watching a movie and a dude pulled off like...22 shots without reloading his M1...and i called bs...*

and he teaches AP

Most ppl(Non gun enthusaists or BF2 players) could care less, ant would consider there to be no difference, but a history teacher should know what they are talking about.

I had a science teacher in 10th grade that was the biggest push-over I have ever met.  My class convinced her to let us take every test home and we would then split into groups and take the tests in groups of 4 or 5 with our books and everything.  You would think that when there was not 1 grade under 90% (no joke) she would have figured it out, but 5 or 6 tests and the end of the semester later, we did our final exam the same way (most of it).  It was supposedly her first time teaching, but still, thats just ignorance or obliviousness or something.  She got fired that same year.

My grade 8 french teacher told me if the 'monstre' was a female you would put 'une' in front, and if it was a male 'monstre' then you'd put 'un'.

I argued 'cause it was wrong, but then got threatened and left it be.

I'm still bitter about that and it was 8 years ago.

My english teacher now is a bitch when someone else is right or makes her look stupid she tells the principal and we get pulled out of class. My god Ms.Bert fuck you!  I was right Alvarez is a motherfucken snitch!

My current English teacher is horrible. She gets us in trouble when we speak with incorrect grammar, but then she turns around and says things like "Izgud?" (meaning "it's good?" which should be "Is it good?" anyways) and "Y'all are off task. WAY." I believe it's "All of you are way off task.", moron. She has extremely biased views on society. One time we had an assignment to create our own society, with it's own laws and government, etc. (don't ask me what that has to do with English). She asked our group what idea our society was based upon, and when we answered equality she actually laughed out loud at us. God I hate her.

Also, my math teacher is a creepy pedo. Serves one avantage though, because if a couple of the nicer looking girls in class ask him to shorten the homework assignment he usually will. My Spanish teacher is the only competent teacher I have had in high school yet.

My goverment teacher was the most biased peice of crap ive ever seen.  Shed go on and on about how she doesnt not impose her political views, but then proceeds to tear bush and the republicans a new one every chance she got.  Being in her class was like being in a democratic super cell, nothing but democratic shit out of her mouth all day, so basically, if your not democrats, your crap in her eyes.  This offended me personally becasue im a moderate republican, inbetween the two sepctrums according to various tests ive taken.

That, and the fact she never shut the hell up about her boyfriend, the air marshall, as if anyone gave a damn, funny as hell when a couple kids whipped snowballs at her room during winter, she deserved it.
