BF2S Forums Russia pushing it's limits

Estonian has the right to do with the statue what they want, russia has no rights in this matter other than to respectfully ask for the statue back if it means so much to them.

I personally can see why they would want it removed as Communism has brought nothing but empty promises to its people.

I think we should ask Link, estonias' oldest son what he thinks.

Sorry but it just pisses me off to see a bunch of nerds dishonoring soldiers who die for their country. It also pisses me off that nerds who sit in their safe little homes all day on the computer think they know what war is like, they think they know everything because they see what is on the media and what is on the other parts of the internet. So please nerds and little babies that have no idea what is going on please if you can't say anything that won't dishonor fellow soldiers then you should just stfu and leave.

What about the Soviet Soldiers that died while the Soviets were Allies with the Nazis?  The ones that killed the Russians overthrowing the Russian government?  The Soviets that built a wall in Germany and starved the Germans during the Berlin Airlift?

What if their was a soldier in the Revolution to over throw Russian, then went on to fight along side the Nazis, then ended up fighting against the Nazis, and finally ended up occuppying and Enslaving Eastern Europe after the War through the use of bruttal force and violence?

How would you feel about this soldier?  Remember, he did fight the Nazis.

It is irrelevant what the statue means to you. For Estonians the statue stands for the brutal Soviet occupation. Nazis were beaten but the Soviets ruled for decades with a Nazi-equal system. They were the scum of the earth and deserve no statues in central places here.

Expecting Estonia to keep the statue there is as farcical as asking Palestine to erect a monument to fallen Israeli soldiers, or asking the Dutch to erect a monument to the nazis.
