thanks for the advice. thats pretty much what i was thinking, but the what ifs and whatnot were floating around my skull, so here i am.

i just noticed it when i turned around to press the little button thing to lock the car.

edit: to elaborate, when i was pulling out i thought it looked close, and then when i turned back to lock the car i noticed a little patch about 2 inches long and a quarter to an eighth of an inch wide of missing paint. no paint from the other car though, which means his car just needs to be buffed a bit, right?
