I have recently upgraded to Vista ... lol yeah I know it was a bad decision and I'm regretting it I can't even play my games... but anyways ... I have two sets of jacks on my computer where I can plug my headset in, when I plug my headset into the back jacks my mic doesn't work, so I'm guessing the jack is broken ? But the audio is fine .. then when I plug my headset into my front jacks the mic works BUT I get this static feedback in my audio,.  I know this sounds weird.. but i can hear my hard drive... whenever it accesses stuff or even if its just 'idle' I can hear it, its basically just static... =/ maybe someone knows whats wrong =/

Vista sucks! My graphics are all fkd up in my games and I get major lag and horrible fps,. hopefully I can call Dell and have them send me installation discs for XP or something because when I bought my Dell, it came as is with everything on it, no discs, NOTHING. I'm really disappointed right now .... if I can't solve these problems and revert back to XP I'm thinking about just quiting the computer and gaming ..

Yeah I went to ATI's site because I have a Radeon x600 which came with the Dell... I had to download like all this shit 'Catalyst Control Center' and 'Catalyst Install Manager' and I have no idea what it is.

Thats what my 1.6 looked like. In Source my graphics were not like that,, BUT If I played at certain resolutions it would make things pink and boxey... and in BF2 my graphics were fine but I had major fps lag and it was virtually unplayable. The fps problem was the same with 1.6 and Source as well.
