hey, i'm still searching for a saturday job, i had no luck with Wickes, i recently applied for Homebase, B&Q has no vacancies.

anyway, anyone got any tips on what things not to put in the application forms or how you can completely screw one up along with your chance of a job, also i would like to know how long it normally takes them to reply...

lol man i have put in prolly 30 job applications and havnt been hired yet.. problem is im not 18 yet.. finally got a call back from a restaurant lookin for a cook but apparently they didnt see i checked the under 18 box and told me theyd call back if they had any other openings caus u have to be 18 to work in the kitchen.. think ive finally got a job lined up for this summer tho workin at a city baseball league workin on the scoreboards and workin on the fields.. heard it was a pretty slack job, sure ill be bored and wont make a whole lot but gotta start somewhere lol hopefully my dad will stay workin til i get through college and i can start pretty high at his company.(luxuries of being the company presidents son) lol
just keep at it man the more applications u turn in the better chance you have and go back after u turn them in ask the manager if they have reviewed it yet tell em u want to work there.. bug em til they hire u

Tesco wont take u on till after GCSE's, Sainsburys is hard to get to by bike, ASDA is quiet a while away, dunno where the hell nearby morrisons is.

Dude if, like me before this week, you'ver never had a job, then put on your application form this....

I've noticed your job advertisement and im very interested in this position, but i have no previous experience in this field, so i propose a 7 day trial and you could asess my performance.

I did this on 3 of my application forms, and i 2 out of 3 interviews.
It works and tells the employer that your thinking and shit like that.

Seriously though, just go work for McDonalds or some pizza joint.
