It's more to do with the fact that they grew up on a plain, where you're running a helluva lot more (because they hunt fast-moving animals, they don't herd dumb, slow animals)

Very good point. Peoples bodies tend to adapt to their environment. Like you said, plains people hunt fast animals, and tend to have long legs and other physical traits to help them survive. As mountainous people tend to have shorter legs, etc.

But then again, don't take my word for it. As I'm not a biologist by any means.

one thing i love about the military is the fact that regardless of a person is a bigot or a racist, that shit flies out the window when the shit hits the fan and everyone is on equal terms, AMERICAN.  the best NCO's ive ever had were either black, white, hispanic or asian/pacific islander.  the uniform is the color of your skin and your MOS is the ethnic group you belong to.  your unit is your family regardless of color, religion or creed.  shit,  even sexual preference.  theres been one or two guys that I would consider the best examples of fighting infantry killers and my brothers and they were rumors that they were also a little sweet.  oh well.  5.56 round doesnt care whose rifle its fired from as long as were all on the same team.
