Ugh. it's so upsetting seeing that. The Food part I can understand, we're the dominant species and we need to kill them for food, but with the pets thing? Just sad. Just sad. With the exception of Euthanasia, I don't know how a human can kill a dog (let alone any animal) and feel no pain.

I have had to put some animals down, and it is a sad thing. What is more sad is watching them suffer needlessly. Taking an animal to the vet to have them put down due to ailments or illness is the same thing, just more expensive.

It was interesting for a moment, but I stopped at 2:30 when the video began to lament about the cruelty of humans, somehow trying to instill in the viewer the "fact" that we're the only species that is cruel to other species and to its own members, when yesterday I saw a documentary film crewmember dig a penguin chick out of a pit in the snow and give it back to its mother.

Watched the entire production and found it awakening; further motivation for me to re-evaluate my indirect exploitation of and cruelty to animals, funded by purchasing animal produce. I'm in no way suggesting that all animal produce involves cruelty and unnecessary harm, but we can perhaps consider exactly what is involved in getting that produce to human consumption.

This is an issue I am feeling stronger about as my life, and human ignorance, continues.

Even if you aren't American I dont know any language that uses "u" in place of "you", "ur" in place of "your", and "improtant" in place of "important".

Personally, I think the video takes the worst, extremely rare case scenarios and builds them up, never shows the opposite side of the argument, very biased.
