What do i use and where do i get it? I just got a hell lot of hl2 maps that i wanna try out.

you can request invitation codes for these particular websites so they can allow you to use there tracker and torrents
im a member of demonoid and torrentleech,
these however require a minimum ration of 0.4
that means if your share ratio drops below that digit you are booted from the system!
remember you must give in order to recieve!

Im assuming you just got a torrent file (few KBs). Than I agree, azareus or utorrent.
Get it a www.utorrent.com
When you install one of them a simple double click should do the trick.
PS. since its you first time... a very common problem is that people decide to give another name to the file that they are downloading, and not the one "suggested" one by the program. Nothing wrong with it except that sometimes the extension of the file gets lost so when you finish downloading, windows doesnt recognize what file format it is.

Apparently, HBO uses the trackers in torrent files to see who is downloading their shows. A friend of mine downloaded an episode of Entourage and got his internet shut down (after a full year of downloading other torrents). HBO had sent his ISP a letter informing them that he was downloading illegally. It was a pain to get it turned back on. Besides this, happy downloading!
