IO Karkand [ARTILLERY]?

I was playing on a infantry only, friendly fire off, Karkand, server. Every once in a while I notice ARTILLERY killing someone. Can anyone explain to me why this sometimes shows up in the top left list? Remember there is no artillery in this game

Some seem to think it happens when someone is hacking on the server. Sometimes I think that too. But who knows? Probably a bug.

Its a bug of some sort, i was running between flags the other day when i apparently died due to artillery. The only confusion for my squad was that i hadn't actually died at all and was still with them??
