Does anyone know where it is (meaning what mjaor airport is it near? and what direction and distance is it from it?)? (I know that it is in Tunisia). Any help would be appriciated. thanks in advance and Kara for ideas

Actually some of the parts with the Tusken Raiders are filmed in Tunisia. I remember seeing it in some documentary.

they filmed some of the original star wars movie there, and if you go there now they have a small hotel out in a desert which was used in the movie. they have some of the memorabilia there too. my mate was there two weeks ago.
Yeah. I don't ever remember hearing that any of it was filmed in Death Valley. I suppose bits might of, but they used Tunisia a lot, so I don't really know why they'd switch.theDude5B wrote:

suposidly there is also a place in tenerife that was used for some of the original movies? not quite sure though, I just remember being drunk there and someone talking about a day trip.
I asked my dad about it and he said that it was in Oman.
