Have a beer. A perfect accompaniment to some good weed and guaranteed to make you sleepy.
Have a Cigarette and a tumbler glass of Borboun. You may sleep through your alarm though!
LOL! I'm just imagining you sitting in a large leather chair, smoking and drinking bourbon!leetkyle wrote:

Lots of bad things came from alcomahol and chocolate. Like rape, date rape, surprise secks, buttsecks and other things of that nature. Oh, and dead people. They are illegal for a reason, but that reason has nothing to do with that it's bad for you.Pea....Tear.....Griffen wrote:

We are talking about weed here no other drug.
In my eye drink is worse, its ok in moderation but there is alot of people in this world that binge drink.
The amount of nasty stuff i have seen happen to people due to alcohol far outweighs weed.
The worse i have seen on weed is someone throwing a "whitey" other than that nothing in comparison.
Least you fed the fish!KILLSWITCH wrote:

Oh yeah, alchohol is bad so that makes it ok to smoke weed because its marginally better?, you dont think lives have been ruined because of weed aswell....how abput Chapel Corby ey? ey?, there are people that can smoke in moderation i know, but there are other who waste education, money and sperm count because of weed. As long as you drink with people you know and trust, not random parties and gatecrashers you'll be fine, as mates you should be there for each other when you go out and drink to help each other if things get too out of hand.{uscm}Jyden wrote:

Well i haven't a clue who chapel corby is so you can enlighten me who that is...
From what i have seen alchohol is worse for you,i never said "SMOKE THE WEED DUDE ITS FUCKING BEST THING YOU WILL EVER DO AND WON'T HARM YOU"
I said drink is far worse in my eye's.
Yes friends can help and if you drink in moderation then you will be fine.
Don't even get me started on the "Wasting money sperm and education."

Eh, my grandpa on my dad's side is an alcoholic who's basically cut off all communication with his kids (my dad spoke to him for the first time in a while like in December, he nearly started crying), and my grandpa on my mom's side died of lung cancer from smoking.
Out of the "big three", I'd take alcohol before anything else. A glass of red wine a day can help your heart. Twelve beers a day is just gonna kill you. Cigarettes, well, those are just fail. Weed's probably not too bad in moderation, but I can see how you could easily get hooked on it if you smoke too much.

I know we are getting a bit off the topic of "help me" to a debate about drugs/alcohol, but my opinion :
I never tried drugs because I never needed them...but I agree with a statement that if you start to pay for drugs - it's a first step to get notice that you are hooked, but I don't think its bad if you have a smoke form time to time for example if you are offered at a party. Also note that pot can have a different effect on you - you might get a bit hyperactive and stressed...
You ! have to control drugs not the other way around...
also I don't drink alcohol <not even beer> because I just don't like the taste of it...the only eception is a shot of a good quality, properly served absinth <note: I never been drunk in my life even dough I tried to get once>
I also don't smoke cigarettes <and never tried> but my parents smoke and I easily choke and can't stand the smell...
note:I'm 21 and all of the above is my personal choice and there is no pressure on me from my family/faith that I should/shouldn't do something...I think my personality has much do do with all this...

The TC talks about weed like it is crack or smack.
I don't do any drugs these days (40), but did in college. There's nothing inherently wrong with drug use. There's generally something quite wrong with drug users.
Here's the problem with drugs: It's not so much the drugs themselves, it's the bad decisions that you're making in your life in general, of which the drugs are indicative.
You're "skating on thin ice" at work? That tells me that you're (1) not doing a great job when you're there, (2) likely late some times (no doubt for things that in your mind "aren't your fault" like bad tires blowing out, car wont start, lost your keys, traffic was a bitch, et al, which are actually quite controllable), and (3) not a highly valued member of the team.
Now you decide to try some pot brownies when you know you should have had dinner, read a little, gone to bed early, and been the first one at work so you could shed the "slacker" label.
Those are bad decisions if you're interested in moving up in the world.
Plenty of people can get up, have a good breakfast, work out a little, get to the office 15 minutes early, rock out with their cock out all day at work, then head home and puff on a little pot at 6:45 instead of drinking a scotch and water, and go to bed by 10 so they can kick ass at their job again tomorrow.
I'm not one of those people. Therefore I stay away from the pot. I'm more interested in the rewards of a successful career than I am in being high. Some can have both, others have to choose one or the other. Right now you sound like one who has a choice of one or the other, and you aren't making the "I want to kick ass and get rich" decision.
Once you master kicking ass in your personal and professional lives without the influence of mind-altering drugs then you can try to ease some recreation into your functioning plan. Until then if you add too much alcohol or pot into your already disfunctional professional life you're asking to stay at the lower income levels of your career forever. If the recreational drug use is more important to you than granite counter tops, a new Lexus, Allen Edmonds shoes and the comfort of knowing your job is stable, then by all means go to it, but if you want to live the good life, learn to take care of shit first, then see if you can still take care of shit while trying the drugs.
