Rofl the chances of that happening without hacks has the same chance of a blind guy seeing a pink elephant.. was it the gun or the rockets?

Normally, AA missiles blow up after a certain distance, but it seems that sometimes when a missile switches targets it 'resets' its range when it locks onto the new target, which means it can go a hell of a lot further.
It doesn't happen very often, but it does happen. Just blow up the Phalanx turret to be on the safe side.
