And yes, it's irritating to many. That's also why its use is semi-forbidden here. "Semi" because we like to make fun of people speaking leet by exaggerating leet speak here.

I totally understand you in your frustration but 1337-speak can't be completely stopped. And as I said previously, it's not used much here and when it is, it's usually doen for "added comedic value" or just plain making fun of 1337-5p11k itself. If it starts to become a problem here at the forums, rest assured, we will do something about it.
