Sinse the creation of the state of Israel in 1948, the Arab world has relentlessly tried to destroy the state, and continues to this day with this goal.

The suffering of the "Palestinian " people can be directly attributed to the Arabs who subjugated these fellow Arabs to the refugee camps for the last 60 years, promising them they could return to their homes once Israel was destroyed, refusing to accept the partition of land set aside by the United nations for a future palestinian state.

While Israel has become a prosperous democratic nation, 59 years later the Palestinians are still fighting against Israel and the result is millions of their people living in camps. Their own leaders continue to stay in power by refusing to stop the terrorism and make peace. We all know about Arafats wife, Suha, who lives in Paris on a 100k per month allowance by the Palestinian Authority, but we don't know what happened to the billions of dollars Arafats secreted away to foreign bank accounts.

I can offer a personal guarantee that if the Palestinians would stop their incestant attacks and recognize  and accept Israel there would be instant peace for them, starting the very next day and their own state shortly after.

But they, like so many here would rather embrace hatred for Israel than live in peace.
The solution is theirs.

Peace could be achieved if the Palestinians did what you said AND if there was a progressive government in Israel.

I think someone doesn't quite understand what 'Zionism' actually entails. It entails taking all lands between the Jordan and the Sinai - they're building settlements for a reason ye know. The Israelis are just as fucking bigoted, intransigent and sectarian as the Palestinians. Don't kid yourself. Don't be fooled by the well-spoken American accents and the wearing of slightly less ridiculous headwear.

PS I don't regard any country that grants guaranteed citizenship to people of a certain religion as a democracy.

PPS The Palestinians have had countless fruitless ceasefires in the past. It just gives the settlement-builders a handy break from the risk of attack.

I meant someone like Yithzak Rabin and not some fuck like Benyamin Netanyahu, Ariel Sharon (what's up with him, is he dead or still in coma ?), Ehud Olmert and others.

And you also have the guys that killed Rabin, the extreme right wing fanatic bigots that would exterminate the Palestinians if they had the power. They usually create some Kibboutz in the middle of the Palestinians and make more problems.

I agree. It's sad, isn't it? The thing is, as a country that has nothing to lose, you will do whatever it takes. That's why the situation keeps worsening. If the Arab countries around Palestine actually gave a rats ass about them, or if the world actually recognized Palestine as a country (a friend of my dad's couldn't get any work anywhere because he was Palestinian), maybe the situation would brighten up a bit.
It's not only Israel's fault, but neither is it only Palestine's.

The Arabs are pathetic for pretending to "care" for the plight of the Palestinians. . . .

Saudi Arabia has all the money in the world to help build infastructure etc etc to help these people, yet doesnt. . . same could be said for Egypt! Iran has money to fund Hezbollah, but not to build buildings and schools in Gaza?? Hmm. . . The Arabs priority is to destroy Israel, not help the Palestinians.  The Palestinians are a pawn of aggressive Arab/Persian governments who use them as a scapegoat to further the hatred of Jews.

The only thing thats progressive on the Arab end is the schooling and indoctrination of hate and the practice of maryterdom.

The Israeli's aren't saints by any means, but for the most part they want to be left alone.  Unfortunately they are surrounded by enemies and have to take an aggressive stance by proxy.  Both populations (Arab and Israeli) would like to live in peace, but none wants to concede its viewpoints.  The Palestinians had a chance for their own state when Barak and Arafat went to Washington years ago. . . .Arafat turned down the proposal! When you are run by a terrorist for over 30 years, its hard to break the cycle of violence and the indoctrination of hate. 

When you have two stubborn governments who have contempt for each other, only a cataclysmic event could possible change the course of diplomacy/democracy. . . . I see a massive attack first before any meaningful peace could EVER be achieved in that region. . .aka WWIII

What do you suggest?  Should Israel continue the oppression and killings, just because we don't know if the other Arab states would accept a peace treaty?  Maybe I'm naive.  But the current situation is not working very well imo.

Objective... Objective!? Are you serious? You talk about Palestine teaching hatred while you completely ignore the fact that the same is done in Israeli schools. You talk about Palestinian terrorism while completely ignoring what caused it. You say that they are in refugee camps because of their terrorism, without putting the least blame on Israel for continuous violation of the Geneva Convention (human rights).

How is "objective" the right word for all the above?
