IMO, this sounds pretty much the same as Apartheid in South Africa. And that was resolved without violence but negotiation.

I believe you disagree with Israel's policies, not their right to exist.

i'm saying, your energies would be better spent addressing the Arabs that are keeping the palestinians in submission.
It is not the state of Israel. It is the Arabs.

Israel is Jewish, you can't hate one without hating the other.
It's like those who say you hate Americas foriegn policy, but you love Americans.
Americans make our foriegn policy, not Israel.

And why don't you address the wholesale financial rape of the Palestinians by that terrorist and his wife...what his name, oh yes, Arafat.

I can criticize a governement without hating the people of a country.  I can criticize Olmert for being a prick without being anti-Semite.  I can criticize Bush for being an asshole without being anti-American.  I can criticize the president of Argentina, without being anti-Argentinian.  It seems to me you can not tell the difference because your mind is full of prejudice.

And I don't agree with Muslim extremists.  But how come Israel is not oppressing Palestinians again?

Arafat was a selfish asshole indeed.

Most Palestinians want peace.  They are just confused, and sometimes they support the wrong party.  But they still don't deserve to live like they do.  And that's Israel's fault.  Sorry, but that's how I see it.

Yes, one of the reasons why US must make every effort for a free Iraq. And not an Iraq governed by militants, but intellectuals. Japan and South Korea didn't spontaneously reach prosperity either, remember that.

@ ATG: Most of the Arab leadership in the middle-east are either thugs (one down now), or self profiteering families. Oh, and why shouldn't I address this?

The Arabs admittedly are dangling a carrot infront of the Palestinians. If the Arabs would provide their billions for infrustructure and agriculture, that would probably make the difference. Why don't they? Hell if I know. Best guest is, they too happy with their income to bother with anyone else. Same mentality you see elsewhere in the world. Rwanda and Sudan comes to mind.

@fadedsteve: Was there really any other effective alternative factions, besides the TWO dominant militant parties? All Hamas did was tell the Palestinians what they wanted to hear. Now Hamas are in the cooker, internationally and with their own people.
