Has anyone else had this problem. I notice when I open up my task manager, xfire uses roughly 50% cpu every 2 seconds and ruins any form of gaming I may have. The simple solution for me is to just close xfire out, then when idling, the cpu usage is zero, as it should be. Any ideas as to why xfire is being funny?

I had this happen with my old computer.
I would have to shut xfire off each time I played a game.

Now, on my new computer, it works fine.

What are your specs?

Hmm, I shall have to continue to monitor, maybe I'll even reinstall it.

My computer is much worse, but I still have no problems running xfire. Maybe tweak some of your settings? It might possibly be the downloading and uploading. I told it to not do any of that while I'm gaming.
